Mother Teresa is a Catholic nun. She was born in 1910.She joined a Catholic order in Dublin at the age 18 and she became a nun. In 1930 she went to Calcutta to teach in a high school. In 1948, she became an Indian citizen.She dedicated herself to Calcutta's poor people.She (bilgi yelpazesi. com) opened orphanages for children and hospices for the dying. And also she opened homes for leprosy patients. She received several international awards. She received also the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. She died in September 5, 1997.
