Eight years ago, a very big earthquake happened at the east of Turkey,Van. It was on October 23,2011 and it was at half past one in the afternoon. The magnitude of the earthquake was seven point two in the Richter Scale. The damage was very big. More than six hundred people died and more than four thousand (bilgi yelpazesi com) people injured. Also, the earthquake damaged more than eleven thousand buildings and sixty thousand people lost their homes. Eleven thousand after shocks happened after the main earthquke. Thirty countries helped Turkey after the earthquake.
