A READING COMPREHENSION            THE SIMPSONS

The Simpsons are American. They have got a big house in Springfield . There is a garden in front of their house. There is a garage next to the house. There are four bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs there  is a lounge a kitchen and a dining room. In the lounge there is a big sofa, in front of the TV. Ned Flanders’ is next to the Simpson’s house.

Marge and Homer have got three children. They’ve also got a dog and a cat. Homer is fat and bald and he isn’t clever. Marge is tall and thin and she has got blue hair. Bart is a boy . He has got a skateboard. He is quite small and very naughty. Lisa’s a good girl. She is clever. Maggie is very small. She is a baby.

Today is Sunday. The Simpsons are on holiday. They are in a lake now. Bart is jumping into water. His father Homer is drinking Coke. Mrs. Simpson is carrying her little daughter Maggie and teaching her to swim. Lisa is sitting near the lake and applying suntan cream on her arms. They are happy now.    Lounge: salon
